2010 Fall-Clean Up


2010 FALL-CLEAN UP The Town of Bradley will be conducting the 2010 Fall-Clean Up on Saturday        October 23, 2010 at 686 Main Street. The site will be open 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. NEW FOR 2010The Town of Bradley will allow one free load of debris.  There will be a charge of $10.00 per additional load.  Municipal staff will be onsite to monitor and collect the appropriate fees. A reminder – 2 tires up to 16 inches without rims and smaller items such as clothing and toys can be put out with your regular weekly trash.  ACCEPTABLE MATERIALS: Miscellaneous household items, car batteries, waste oil, stoves, washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, microwaves, file cabinets, metal tables and chairs, water tanks, furniture, mattresses, radios, carpet – cut in 4 foot sections rolled and tied, small amounts of sheet rock and plaster, loose items MUST BE BOXED OR BAGGED.   A disposal fee of $2.00 per propane tank/cylinders will be charged onsite. A disposal fee of $15.00 will be charged for refrigerators, freezers and air conditioners that contain Freon.  It is necessary to pay at the Town Office before drop off.  Without a receipt the drop off will not be permitted. UNACCEPTABLE MATERIALS: Gas cans, gas tanks, any container that has a liquid i.e. glue, tar, solvent, resin, paint, caulking, gas, auto parts, TV’s, computer monitors, florescent lamps, mercury vapor tubes, light ballast containing PCB’s, batteries, mercury thermostats, wood waste or brush. Also, if you are unable to bring materials to the site due to age or infirmities, please contact the Town to discuss possible alternatives.  If you have any questions concerning the fall clean up, please contact the Town Office at 827-7725. WE APPRECIATE YOUR PARTICIPATION IN HELPING TO KEEP BRADLEY BEAUTIFUL
